Take Back Control
Feel more like yourself again

About Me
Having spent over 25 years working in the NHS as a registered nurse and midwife, I bring a wealth of professional and personal experience to my work as a BACP-accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist, and Clinical Supervisor.
I work with young people aged 11–18 and adults, offering face-to-face and online counselling in a safe, confidential and supportive environment. I aim to provide a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood and able to explore whatever may be troubling you.
I recognise that everyone’s experiences are unique. Whether you are struggling with a particular life event, relationship difficulties or longer-standing emotional challenges, I will work alongside you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, explore new perspectives and find ways to move forward.
Areas I can help with include:
-
Anxiety, stress and depression
-
Low self-esteem, confidence and self-worth
-
Bereavement and loss
-
Family and relationship difficulties
-
Work-related stress and challenges
-
Anger management and phobias
-
Self-harm
-
Seasonal affective disorder (SAD)
-
Pregnancy, antenatal and postnatal depression
-
Birth trauma, miscarriage and baby loss
-
Infertility and abortion
-
Parenting and child-related concerns
-
Cancer, disability and health-related difficulties
I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy, with flexible appointment times to accommodate your individual needs and commitments.
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, but you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I offer a supportive space in which we can work together towards greater understanding, emotional wellbeing and positive change.
